The pool pump is one of the most energy-intensive items in the household (the equivalent of 7 refrigerators on average). Using a variable speed pump can save up to 90% of energy.

Variable speed pumps offer many advantages

  • Significant energy savings due to lower kW consumption
  • Optimisation of filtration and therefore savings on treatment products
  • Noise reduction (less than 40 dB at low speed, corresponding to a quiet room)
  • Initial investment pays for itself in a few years (Return on investment is achieved in 3 seasons maximum)
  • Slower filtration ensuring optimised water quality (At slower speeds the filter and automatic treatment work better)
  • Adaptation to the needs in real time and according to its equipment
  • Longer pump life (used at low speed, less wear)
  • Ideal for renovation

SCP offers several types of variable speed pumps from several renowned suppliers : Davey Hayward, Pentair, Super Pool
